This would have to be the best original condition Kombi you will ever see. This is all original paint, and original parts from the motor down to the door handles, mirrors and stickers as well as the original tool kit. I've honestly never seen one this good in all my years!! It's difficult to let it go as I know I'll never have one this good again but it's time for me to liquidate my VW collection.

This was originally from Echuca in Victoria and owned by an older lady who passed away. It's the original 1600 single port and runs beautifully. Believed to be the original 24,000 miles (I purchased it with 22238) though sadly I don't have the service book only the owners manual. Based on it's condition it's more likely to be 24,000 than 124,000, particularly given the overall condition and notably the front seats, steering wheel, dash and the rear floor area which looks to pretty much never have been used. It also has the original ball joints and most of it's original steering components which are all still in excellent condition.

I completed some work on it so I could drive it including: Brake wheel cylinders and master cylinder all round, brake shoes and brake fluid flush. Spark plugs, leads, points, condenser, rotor arm and distributor cap, new braided fuel hose and adjusted tappets and replaced rocker cover gaskets. Also completed two oil change since owning it. One when I bought it and one 500 miles ago. Other than that, all I've done is drive it.

Check out the photos. It really has to be seen to be appreciated. Anyone who has seen it is amazed at the condition! Happy to do a video call for interstate parties. Inspections welcome but test drives will only be offered to genuine buyers. This will only be sold to a collector or someone who appreciate it's originality and who will look after it and leave it like it is.

It might be the highest priced lowlight you've seen but it definitely will be the best by far!
