For sale is a rare original 1974 Deluxe Microbus Kombi, hard to find them in this original condition

This bus was owned by the same family for over 40 years and used primarily for family holidays in Tasmania. It was always well serviced by a vw mechanic and the 51,900 kms may well be the original mileage. It has always been registered and remains registered as an eight seater. It runs perfectly and has no obvious issues. I have completed some of the restoration including new window seals, door seals, door cards, floor rubbers etc. The limited body rust was repaired by a professional panel beater. The only remaining rust to be repaired is the small amount around the front door steps.The floors throughout are in very good condition with only minor surface rust. The underneath of the vehicle is also in very good structural condition! The heater is currently not working but could easily be repaired. The interior needs a bit more work with the original back seats needing recovering. With this complete it will be good enough for weddings, school leavers etc!

This is a very honest kombi ready to be cherished by the third owner. I am in no hurry to sell the vehicle ; so if making an offer make it realistic! Who ever buys this kombi will have a great bus that drives beautifully and always starts first time! A 48 year old girl in the prime of life! She will also come with the originaL log book and service manual etc! If you are interested from interstate the bus will love a long run to her new home!
