Not a lot of Kombis come up for sale in this condition. Patty is a very original old girl. She lived most of her life out in Armidale in country NSW before spending the last 6 years in the blue mountains. Besides the Sunburn Patina, you won't find any rust in her. She's extremely dry and solid with mostly original paint. This is the way you should buy a Kombi to ensure you know what you're getting and you know you'll still have a solid bus years down the track
Recent mechanical work includes a full check over, service and tune including: Points, condenser, rotor button, dizzy cap, intake manifold elbow boots, new spark plugs, new coil, set timing and tappets, new mechanical fuel pump, new fuel hoses and oil and filter change. Brakes and steering were all checked and rear wheel cylinders replaced. Will come with a NSW pink slip and it's still registered till December
Other work included: new passenger door handle, new fuel cap, re-upholstered front seats, new door cards and window winders and new carpet floor mat.
There really isn't anything you need to do on Patty other than keep up her general maintenance and service.
We are so confident in Patty we will even extend a three month warranty.
