We purchased this Kombi in Sept 1981 at a Government auction and have owned it since.Early in 1982 we camperised it and toured during the 80's and early 90's. It has been a valued family transporter for the past 43 years and has been well maintained both mechanically and body wise. It has been regularly serviced, every 5,000km, following a Maintenance Schedule and has always been garaged when not in use.

For the past 25 years, or so, it has only been used to carry surfboards, sailboards or kayaks to local waterways. It is being sold reluctantly as us two Octogenarians are now restricted in our sporting activities, have softened with age and are now touring in a 4WD rig with en-suite caravan.

This vehicle is offered for sale as is. It is not new, has not been restored but has had rust repairs and mechanical work when needed. It runs well, is currently driven around town, looks good and is registered until Sept 2025.

It would ideally suit somebody who is looking for a good base upon which to perform a serious restoration.

It comes with the original VW Transporter Instruction Manual, two workshop manuals, together with a few spare parts.
